Staten Island, NY – 69-year-old, Patrick Varriale, was fatally stuck by an MTA bus on Friday, May 13, 2022. The accident occurred around 4:25 a.m. at the intersection of Forest Hill Road and Platinum Avenue.
According to NYPD, the bus was making a left hand turn onto Platinum Avenue when the driver struck Varriale. The bus did not remain on the scene. The driver has been identified and pulled from duty. NYPD and MTA are investigating the incident.
