Man Dies After Being Pinned Between Parked Car and Reversing Truck

San Jose, CA – A pedestrian died after being pinned between a parked BMW and a reversing work truck. The accident occurred around 8 a.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at the 1200 block of Lennon Way. 

According to police, the man driving the work truck was backing into a driveway to unload supplies and hit a car that had stopped behind him. The driver then proceeded to hit the pedestrian, pinning him between the work truck and the parked car. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
