Kindergartner and Mother Fatally Struck by School Bus

Mamaroneck, NY – A 6-year-old boy and his mother were fatally struck by a school bus on Thursday, June 20, 2024. According to Village of Mamaroneck Police Department, the bus was turning left when it struck the mother and child. They were in a marked crosswalk on Mamaroneck Avenue with a walk sign at the time of the incident. The accident remains under investigation.
