Highway Construction Worker Killed After Falling from Box Truck

Vineland, NJ – 45-year-old male, Oligario Rocha Dos Santos, was killed on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, around 1:30 a.m. while working on a South Jersey highway construction project.  

According to reports, Santos was in the back of a box truck hauling an air compressor when he fell from the back of the truck and was run over by the trailer. He was taken to Cooper University Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The accident remains under investigation.
