Burbank, CA – A construction worker was injured after a retaining wall collapsed at a worksite in Burbank on Wednesday, November 29, 2023. The incident occurred on the 600 block of Cedar Avenue where a 46-unit apartment complex is currently under construction. Firefighters found the worker trapped after the wall collapsed and used a hoist to free the man, who was then taken to the hospital. The accident is under investigation.
