Redwood City, CA – A bicyclist was killed in a collision with a commercial truck on Wednesday, September 28, 2022. The accident happened around 11:30 a.m. on Highway 1 near Cypress Avenue.
According to California Highway Patrol, the truck driver crossed over the lane and crashed into the bicyclist head-on. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver was arrested for involuntary manslaughter with gross negligence.
