4 Killed and 9 Injured After Woman Crashes Into Deer Park Nail Salon

Deer Park, NY – On Friday, June 28, 2024, Hawaii Nail & Spa was hit by a minivan, leaving four people dead and nine people injured. The accident occurred when 64-year-old Steven Schwally drove the car through the front of the nail salon. Schwally was driving under the influence at a high rate of speed when the accident occurred.

Four people were tragically killed in this incident. They have been identified as Emilia Rennhack, Jiancai Chen, Yan Xu and  Meizi Zhang. The injured have been identified as Nicole Miele, Ana Garcia, Wen Jun Cheng, Michael Mehale, Carol Garcia, Toni Saccente, Krystal Rodriguez, Nicole Saccente, and a 12-year-old girl.
