11-year-old Injured by Ice Cream Truck

Brooklyn, NY – An 11-year-old boy was struck by an ice cream truck on Friday, June 24, 2022, at the intersection of Sutter Avenue and Hendrix Street.  

According to police, 58-year-old Juan Remigio was driving onto the intersection when he struck an 11-year-old boy riding his bicycle. The boy was knocked to the ground and dragged by the ice cream truck. He was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. Remigio was charged with driving without a license and failure to yield.
