Bakersfield, CA – A collision between a bicycle and a truck occurred on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at the intersection of Poplar Avenue and Filburn Avenue around 8:19 p.m.
According to reports, the bicyclist, Salvador Covarrubias, 67, was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
