Bicyclist Fatally Struck in Escondido
Escondido, CA – The driver of a vehicle struck and killed a 73-year-old bicyclist on Thursday, August 11, 2022. The crash happened around 10:25 a.m. on Broadway near El Norte Parkway.
According to police, the bicyclist was riding in a painted bicycle lane when the driver of the vehicle struck the biker from behind. The biker was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash is under investigation.
