At Least Four Injured After Boat Capsizes at the Lockport Cave

Lockport, NY – A tour boat with 36 people onboard capsized on Monday, June 12, 2023, at the Lockport Cave & Underground during a tour around 11:30 a.m. At least four people were injured as a result of this incident. The accident is currently under investigation.

It was later released one person was trapped underneath the boat and died at the scene. Eleven people were transported to the hospital with injuries.
