Amherst, NY – A three-car crash occurred on Evans Street on Thursday, March 24, 2022. Amherst Police say a 65-year-old man driving a Chevy Colorado crossed into the northbound lane causing a wrong lane collision with a Ford Escape and a Chevy Silverado. Two drivers were taken to Erie County Medical Center with serious injuries. The driver of the Chevy Colorado later died at ECMC.
According to police, no charges have been filed and the crash scene remains under investigation.
