Bronx, NY – A 51-year-old, Elizabeth Wolmart, was killed after being hit by a Mercedes Benz while walking in a crosswalk on Thursday, April 28, 2022. The accident occurred on the corner of Burke Avenue, across from Eastchester Garden House.
According to police, Zavee Georges was driving a white Mercedes Benz and made a left turn onto Burke Avenue, hitting Wolmart. She was transported to the hospital where she later died. Georges was arrested at the scene.
