4-year-old Girl Critically Injured in New Jersey Crash
Toms River, NJ – A young girl was critically injured in an accident involving two vehicles on Thursday, March 23, 2023. The collision took place at the intersection of Route 70 and Massachusetts Avenue.
According to police, the driver of a pickup truck, 33-year-old Charles Sharkey Jr., was driving erratically with a suspended license and ran a red light and crashed into a vehicle containing Isabella Corbin, her father, and older brothers. Isabella was critically injured in the crash and transported to the hospital. The driver of the pickup truck was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, assault by auto, and other related offenses. The accident remains under investigation.
